THE MODELS CONSTRUCTION

 

Frame.

Begin the build of the model from gluing on 1 mm cardboard elements 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 3, 4a, 5a. From elements 1 to 5 glue the frames tub as showed in drawing 1 and 2. Take caution while gluing together the elements, which shows the scheme in drawing 2. Next you have to choose the version of the model: with the inside of without it.

 

The inside.

The build of the inside begin from gluing both axles of the rocking levers A1, A2, B1 as shown in drawing 3. When you make the movable rocking levers, you must fix a rocking levers axle to the inside as in drawing S2. To the first pair of the casing fix an axle as showed in drawing S1. Next glue the springs casing A3, A4, A5 and B2.

 

If you want to make a  shock absorbered chassis, glue into the inside wires, so when the lift becomes, the wheels are slightly bended. It is complicated  and usually only professional modeler can make it. It would be good, at this level, to make the wheels rocking levers-elements 15 and 16 as well as the driving wheels body transmission 17 and the mechanism tightening the caterpillar 18.

 

Next glue elements A6 and then the fire-wall-A7 (in it you can cut out holes and glue covers A8, A9, A10). Elements of the crews compartments equipment make as in drawing 4. Next make the engine compartment as in drawing 5 from elements B3-B10. From elements B11-B14 make the inside of the fuel tank(drawing 6) , which you glue between elements B2 and on element B10. Elements B15 glue as in drawing 7 and glue it into the engines chamber beside the tanks B-11 and B-12 onto pieces B10a and B10b.

The engine and the propulsion transfermake from elements marked by letter C. Glue the engine from pieces C1-C14 as showed in drawing 8. The propulsion transfer, pieces C15-C20 and B16 make as in drawing 9 and the filter configurationC21 and C22 as showed in drawing 10.

 

Frame cd.

Next you glue pieces 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 as showed in drawing 18, and then fix wings 14.

 

Chassis.

The build of the driving configuration begin from making the wheels rocking lever: from pieces 15 make the front rocking lever, from piece 16 the remaining rocking levers as showed in drawing 11. If you make movable rocking levers and circling wheels glue also pattern S1, S2, S4. Elements 16j, 16k, 16l glue to piece 2 in the marked spaces beside the holes for the springs. From elements 17 make the transmission casing as showed in drawing 12 and glue it to the backj part of element 2. The tightening mechanism- make pieces 18 as showed in drawing 13, but pieces from d-i are not supposed to be glued at this level. Glue the capacity wheels from pieces 19 as showed in drawing 14, the propulsion wheels from pieces 20 as showed in drawing 15, the tightening wheels from pieces 21 as showed in drawing 16. If you make movable driving configuration you must take a good look at the coaxial elements and the accuracy in gluing the wheels.Next make the caterpillar from elements G1-G7 as showed in drawing 17. Next you complete the frames equipment with the remaining elements as showed in drawing 18 and 19.

 

Tower

The build of the tower begin from elements 32-35 as showed in drawing 20. Pay attention while making elements 32-matching them to the holes in piece 6. Elements 36e1 glue after fixing the outrigger. Make the outrigger as showed in drawing 21 from elements 36, next join axles S11 to the tower. Make the servo-motor from pieces 37 as showed in drawing 21, in the way, so that piece 37b would move inside of piece 37. Make the outriggers configuration from pieces 38 and 39 as well as pattern S12 and S13 as showed in drawing 22.

 

From elements 40 and pattern S14 make the outriggers support construction, which you glue to the frame using drawing 24.

In the end the model can be painted with colourless and matt varnish.
