GENERAL COMMENTS

 

 

The model is considered rather difficult. Before gluing, get familia with the main plan of the model and the assembly drawing. . During the gluing you should retouch the edges with the properly choosen colour. Pieces marked * should be glued to 0,5-0,7 mm cardboard.Pieces marked with the letter P should be glued similarly as pieces marked with letter L. While gluing the fuselage check the symmetry of its gluingness. Places not printed, cut curbs, scratches, etc. paint with waterless paint  or other suitable colours. After gluing the model paint with colourless and half matt varnish to make the construction more resistant from damage and much easier to clean from dust. Use the rule of  matching pieces together “on dry”, try on twice-then glue. While gluing the body pay attention to the symmetry.

 

 

 

The bodies assembling.

 

Begin the build of the model from gluin the skeleton –drawing 1. The instrument board glued from pieces 17 and 17a. You can also make it by using foil and piece 17b, to which you put white surfaces. You recieve a space board. As according to the assembly drawing make the bodies equipment. The inside of the port glue in the proper spacer (after earlier gluing to it the equipment- drawing 7,10). Over the ready set glue piece 18. Glue the exhaust pipes as showed in drawing 6. The entire piece glue in the marked space. To piece 19 from the inside glue pieces 19 b and c. The ready element glue to the skeleton. From the bottom glue piece 20. Glue piece 22. The back segment sof the body glue as showed in the assembly drawing. In segment 26 to the inside glue frame 26b. To it glue piece 30. Over the entire piece glue piece 26g. Over the ready element glue piece 26.Glue the stabilizer fin from two shelves (drawing 17), which you put on the skeleton. Fit the tail plane as showed in drawing 19, remembering that piece 30a should be put into the cutten out space in frame 26b. As showed in drawing 24 make the separate element sof the stabilizer fins steering. In the same way make the tail planes elements. Fit piece 56, profile it properly. Fit the windscreen and its movable part. Glue the air intake to the carburettor as showed in drawing 26. To the earlier made skeleton glue the veneer (look at drawing 14). Fit the air-intake to the engine as showed in the assembly drawing.

 

The wings assembling

 

As showed in drawings 14 and 20 make the wings skeleton. It is seen that in this fitting you must glue the enitre set of wings as well as the centre section of a wing. To the prepared skeleton glue piece 35- look at drawing 14. On its edges glue the helping veneers while fitting the wings elements. In piece 34a cut out the marked spacer, needed for the later fitting of the main undercarriages leg.

     The undercarriages cavitie floor glue to pieces 37, 37a. Glue the ready element in the marked space from the inside to piece 36. In piece 36 you must choose whether you want to make separate steering elements, or make then a one piece. Glue the veneer to the wings skeleton. The ends of piece 36a and 36b glue as showed in the assembly drawing. Onto the bottom side of piece 36 glue piece 39 in the marked space. The ready set of wings glue from the bottom to the body. Glue the profiled piece 38. Veneers piece 40 glue as showed in the assembly drawing. The Pitots pipe piece 55 fit as showed in the drawing. On the bottom surfaces glue piece 37.

 

The undercarriages assembling.

 

Roll piece 50 into a pipe, which you put on a pattern made from wire. Glue to it piece 50c. Glue the wheels into layers, grind them properly. Glue to the wire (look at the assembly drawing). Pieces 51a,b glue together-drawing 22. Glue in the marked spaces. The propellers blades glue as showed in the drawing. Glue the antennas mast as showed in the assembly drawing.

 

The white edges should be properly retouched and painted with properly chosen paint.The model should be varnished with colourless matt varnish in order to keep it strong and safe from damage.
